Q What is the difference between a private yoga class and one-to-one specialist health support?
A. A yoga class will relax you, de-stress you and improve your strength, flexibility and balance. Therapeutic Yoga is designed specifically to meet a health need, be that physical, mental, emotional or spiritual. Examples include yoga for mental health & wellness, yoga for long covid/fatigue, cancer & beyond, yoga for female health (menopause, healthy menstrual cycles and fertility), and yoga for sleep.

I adapt the style of the class according to your wants and needs, and also mood and energy levels, so that you feel refreshed and rejuvenated.
Whether you would like a session for beginners, for the breath, to de-stress or to support your sport, or would simply like some quality me-time, I'm ready with a smile to guide you.

According to Chinese Medicine, every physical ailment is caused by an anergy imbalance within the body. This energy, known as Qi, flows through a series of meridians (channels) all over the body. Obstructions in the flow of Qi can be unblocked and balance restored, rejuvenating your health and well-being.

Drawing on the Five Element Approach, I'll build a big picture of what's going on for you, and provide a tailored treatment plan, including yoga, massage and acupressure, that suits your lifestyle and needs, because you are unique. I'm there to listen, support and guide you back to feeling like you again. I recommend following up with 6 sessions of Therapeutic Yoga; you may also wish to do less, or more; the choice is yours.

Nicky trained with Yoga Medicine, Strala Yoga (drawing on wisdom from natural movement principles, yoga, tai chi, qigong, shiatsu and Chinese Medicine), Teen Yoga and Mindfulness, and appleyoga (vinyasa flow). She is a certified Shiatsu and Chinese Medicine practitioner.
